Youth Football Guide For Parents

What to expect, what it costs, and how development works when your athlete joins a competitive football program in Solano County.

Choosing a youth football program is a family decision, not just an athletic one. Parents want to know who is coaching their child, how much the season costs, how many days a week practice runs, and whether contact is appropriate for their athlete's age. At 707 Elite Football we answer those questions up front so families can make an informed choice before registration.

707 Elite is a competitive development program, which means practice is structured and attendance matters. Athletes are coached on fundamentals, position technique, and football IQ, then tested in real competition through 7v7 passing leagues, 5v5 lineman play, girls flag football, and regional tournaments. Most athletes practice one to two evenings a week with weekend games or tournaments during the season.

Costs are broken into program fees and equipment. Program fees cover coaching, practice facilities, and league or tournament entry, and can be paid in full or on a two- or three-payment plan. Equipment such as a certified helmet, shoulder pads, and mouthguard is required for padded programs and priced separately. Families facing financial strain can ask about fundraising assistance before committing.

If you are comparing options in Vacaville, Fairfield, Vallejo, or anywhere in Solano County, the best next step is to submit a registration inquiry. A coach will contact you within one to two business days to talk through division placement, schedule, and cost for your athlete's age group.

Costs & Payment Plans

Program fees cover coaching, practice time, and league or tournament entry. Families can pay in full, split into two payments, or spread the season across three payments. Equipment packages are separate and priced by program, and fundraising assistance is available for families who need it.

Time Commitment

Most programs run one to two practices per week plus weekend competition during the season. Older divisions add film review. Coaches publish schedules before the season starts so families can plan around school and other sports.

Safety & Equipment

Athletes are grouped by age and size, and coaches teach tackling and contact technique before live contact work. Required equipment includes a certified helmet, shoulder pads, and a mouthguard. Girls flag football and 7v7 passing leagues are non-contact options.

Development Path

Many athletes start in 7v7 or flag, move into padded 5v5 lineman and full competition, then use 707 Elite training and tournament exposure to prepare for high school football and college recruiting.
